Mary Gardner's Adventures Now Available

Mary Gardner's Adventures in Local Ecology interactive DVD is now available.

The DVD is a compilation of Mary's stories and photos over the past 2 years as she discovers and explains the mysteries and beauty of the Byron ecology. Originally appearing every 2 weeks in the local Byron Shire Echo newspaper since 2007, the stories take the reader on field trips through the Byron shire, presenting aspects of the region's flora and fauna from her unique perspective.

Included on the DVD are over 250 photos taken during the field trips, presented in both individual and slideshow format. The main slideshow, with music by local pianist Tim Shanasy, takes the viewer on a walk of the Byron coast - from Belongil to Tallow Beach - incorporating the coastal and littoral rainforest features of this intoxicating area.

The Walk The Byron Coast slideshow is viewable on both DVD/TV combo and PC or Mac computers. The Stories and other features are available only when the DVD is played on a PC or Mac.
