Mary Gardner's Adventures in Local Ecology
Byron Bay 2007-2009
SurfCDs were proud to collaborate with resident Byron Bay biologist, Mary Gardner, in the production of her recent DVD-ROM Book.
Mary is a regular contributor the The Byron Shire Echo and, every 2 weeks for the past 2 years, Mary's articles have provided a growing audience of readers within the Byron community a special insight into the marvels of the ecology around them.
The DVD is a compilation of 53 of her articles, from 2007 to 2009, with photos associated with each of the stories. Naturally, there are photo albums and slideshows and links to internet websites. The main slideshow is a 13 minute photographic presentation called "Walk The Byron Coast" - captured during Mary's field trips along and amongst the beautiful Byron coast and coastal rainforest from Belongil to Tallow Beach. It is accompanied by music from local pianist Tim Shanasy.
This slideshow has been converted to digital video format and can be viewed as a normal DVD presentation on a DVD/TV combo - as well as via the DVD player on a PC or Mac. All the stories and other features of the DVD are accessable from the PC/Mac. Refer the FAQ page for more info.
